以評選「好書與好看的書」為宗旨的Openbook好書獎，每年都在數千本出版品中，評選出不容錯過的書籍。
2023年度好書獎主題「閱讀是人生的奇點」，我們融合「閱讀力、科技力」的元素，用設計創意為主視覺點題，以「人生的佈局」為創意概念，用近科幻的透明質感描繪翻開的書頁，而讀者與書中角色奔走在書頁間，強調閱讀、設計與人生都是動態過程，閱讀的力量正是作者與讀者人生交會，並彼此帶來佈局改變的過程。
The Openbook Award, aimed at selecting outstanding books, evaluates thousands of publications each year to identify books that are not to be missed.
The theme for the 2023 Openbook Award is "Reading as a Singularity in Life." We integrate elements of "reading power and technological prowess" and use creative design as the key visual , centered around the concept of "life's patterns." The pages are depicted with a near-science-fiction transparent texture, with readers and characters moving through these pages, emphasizing that reading, design, and life are dynamic processes. The power of reading is the intersection of the lives of authors and readers, which brings about changes to their respective layouts.
在同一個概念下，我們持續翻開書頁、創造年度限定的品牌標誌，結合品牌標誌與主視覺，以動態的設計思維，為年度主題賦予更廣闊的視覺深意，讓每翻開一本書，每進入一個故事，彷彿就是一次穿越新宇宙與人生奇點的經驗。我們都置身在數位、現實、人工智慧相互糾葛的時代，好書獎的存在，一年又一年地提醒我們，透過閱讀便能察覺，宇宙並不單一，人生也不孤獨，只有我們如何在書頁之間奔走，跨越故事的宇宙，找到屬於自己當在的佈局。
Under this concept, we continue to turn pages and create an annual limited-edition brand logo, merging this logo with the key visual theme. Through dynamic design thinking, we give a broader visual depth to the annual theme, making each book opened and each story entered feel like an experience of traversing new universes and life's singularities.
We live in a time entangled with digital, reality, and artificial intelligence. Year after year, the Openbook Award reminds us that through reading, we realize the universe is not singular and life is not solitary. It's all about how we navigate between the pages, crossing the universes of stories to find the layouts that belong to us.
